A busy start to 2014

Well, after a well-earned Christmas break, it’s back to work with a vengeance… I’m currently working in my studio on a new set of songs for “The Ballad of Skinny Lattes and Vintage Clothing” and we will be mounting a special one-off performance when they are ready, sometime around April/May. I’ll post details as soon…

A commission for a-n and AIR Council to produce an intervention at the Art Party conference organised by artist Bob & Roberta Smith. Knitting Time, Touch Art Fair (2013)

The first ever Touch Art Fair in London this week included the audio-descriptive sound installation from Knitting Time by myself and Colin Hambrook. This celebration of haptic art included work by Jake and Dinos Chapman and was held at a former BBC building on Marylebone High St.

Knitting Time (2013)

Colin Hambrook’s Knitting Time exhibition opened this week at Pallant House in Chichester. I created an unusual audio headphone installation to accompany Colin’s exhibition of paintings and drawings. The work features cinematic soundscapes alongside Colin’s voice, reading audio descriptions of the selected paintings, as well as extracts of the poetry that inspired the exhibition. A moving and darkly…

Skinny Vintage at Trellick Tower

Designed by Ernest Goldfinger in the late 1960’s and built in 1972, Trellick Tower is an iconic feature of the West London skyline.
