The last two days have seen my annual pilgrimage to Grand Parade in Brighton to guest lecture on the MA Digital Media Arts course run by the excellent Sue Gollifer. It’s always a pleasure working with this group and this year is no exception. They came a long way in such a short time; from our initial silent soundwalk around the streets of Brighton to producing a short environmental composition made (almost) entirely from sounds recorded on a field recording trip. I look forward to seeing how they progress with their final projects.
