In partnership with Aural Detritus Concert Series and as part of our Landscape : Islands project, I am happy to announce a series of sound art events and experimental music concerts at The Ceramic House, beginning in May.
Please note numbers are limited due to space, so early booking advised…
May 13th features Brambling (Paul Khimasia Morgan & Dan Powell) in an intimate headphone concert in the new gallery space IN CAMERA. Paul is the founder of the Aural Detritus Concert Series and this latest work will be performed via headphones, with the audience seated on cushions in semi-darkness. Expect quiet electronics and hacked objects.
May 20th see Steve Beresford and Blanca Regina take over the whole ground floor of the house. Steve Beresford and Blanca Regina are stalwarts of the London experimental music scene and we are delighted to welcome them again to Brighton. We’ve given them free rein of the ground floor so expect a number of different sonic environments played out with live video feeds.
