I am delighted to announce that I have just received an Artists International Development Fund award from Arts Council England and the British Council to travel to China later in the year to research my planned project with ceramist Kay Aplin ‘Interbeing’  –  a cultural dialogue in ceramics and sound. I have been invited to visit several sound art residencies to give performances and talks, and will visit significant areas of ceramic production in Guangzhou, Jingdezhen and Foshan to capture the sound worlds of ancient craft practices and industrial ceramic production.
