HOW POLITICAL SHOULD ARTISTS BE TODAY?

This is the headline question of an online debate series (#portofrei) I am currently taking part in at the Goethe Institute, following on from last year’s symposium Fragile Affinities at the Akademie der Kunste in Berlin. 3 European artists: belit sağ, Via Lewandowsky and myself, are invited back to debate the relationship between art and politics in today’s toxic political climate, marked by the rise of the far right across Europe.
